I’m excited to share my personal story with you about how I, as a graphic designer, discovered the fascinating world of pattern design. Although my journey hasn’t always been easy, the challenges and learning opportunities have shaped me into who I am today.
The Beginnings as a Graphic Designer
As a child, I was always interested in art and creativity. I enjoyed painting and drawing and was also fascinated by digital art. After graduating in graphic design, I entered the professional world.
The First Challenges
In the beginning, it wasn’t easy. However, through collaborating with clients and working on various projects, I learned that there is a solution to every challenge and that one can learn a lot from mistakes.
The Fascination with Pattern Design
After a while, I felt that something was missing. It then became clear to me that the missing piece was pattern design. I began exploring different styles, techniques, and inspirations. In pattern design, I found the deeper challenges I had always been searching for.
The Learning Process
My passion for pattern design didn’t develop overnight. I learned a lot through online courses, books, and social media. The trials and errors, as well as the successes, all contributed to my knowledge and skills.
Further Steps on the Journey
Today, I am happy and content with my choices. Pattern design has become not just a part of my work, but also a passion. In the future, I plan to learn even more and dive deeper into this fascinating world.
